Why I Write
I write because I can’t shut up. Because the world is chaotic, absurd, and too loud to ignore. Because someone has to ask the questions no one dares to ask.
I pursue what captivates me—ideas, stories, truths—and invite you to join. Writing serves as my way to explore, try new things, and spark reflection. I don’t write to satisfy others; I write to evoke emotion, to make you think, squirm, laugh, or perhaps even feel anger.
What I Write

Poetry. Short stories. Novellas. Memoir. Historical fiction. I explore, challenge conventions, and pursue sentences that resonate. Topics? Life, death, science, religion, culture, grief, joy. Convention can suck it.
Freethoughtable is my playground. It’s a blog that functions as part laboratory and part confessional. Expect me to question everything and push limits as I experiment with form and voice.
Who Am I?
I’m still figuring this one out. I’m a Gen Xer, a northeast Ohio native, a corporate America outcast, a two-time stroke survivor, a humanist, a skeptic, and a lifelong learner. I’m curious, relentless, unapologetic, and unafraid to call out absurdity wherever I see it.
